This Friday, March 3rd, our students will be building a volcano model. Our class is asking for your help in collecting the many items we will need for this activity. If you have any of the items listed below that you would be able to donate, please send them with your child by Thursday, March 2nd. Thank you for your help! Sincerely, Misty Moore 5th Grade Science Teacher [email protected] Here’s what we need:
Mrs. Moore is hosting morning tutorial for science every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 7:00 - 7:40 in her classroom.
We will be reviewing and preparing for the Georgia Milestones. Don't worry, it definitely will NOT be boring old review! We will be playing games and doing hands-on activities in the classroom. Guardians - If you have questions or concerns, please contact Mrs. Moore [email protected] Support our school!
The Hornet Hustle 1K walk/run is Friday, September 30th! Please help us raise money by asking friends, family, and neighbors! Please consider sharing this link http://hawthorne.dojiggy.com/ng/index.cfm/15592/regPages/pledge/moore On Friday, 5th graders should wear a black shirt and tennis shoes. Our homeroom name is Moore's Masterminds! "We're the masters We're the minds We're the Moore's Masterminds! When I say Master, You say Mind! Master! Mind! Master! Mind!" This is not your typical science project!
Forget the stress of preparing a complicated science project the night before it's due! With Mrs. Moore, your child will complete the project IN CLASS! For Unit 1, Classification, your child will be creating a children's book about plants and animals. See the NEWEST page on my website (Projects) for more details. Our hope is to create wonderful children's books that we can share with our Book Buddies (1st grade class) on Friday! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me! Thank you! Hello!
